Will my Reception Baseline target set for the end of Key Stage?

No, there is not a known direct correlation between the new Reception Baseline and End of Key Stage targets.

If any future guidance emerges, we will act on this accordingly, for now if the school wished to provide us with their own methodology, we will be happy to support them in creating a suggestion report.


Can I customise the bank of statements I currently use in Class Track?

Yes, the content within Class Track is fully customisable.

  1. If you wish to create an entirely new content set of your own, we will send a blank template in Microsoft Excel format for you to complete and return to us.
  2. If you wish to amend a content set that has already been published, again we will send a pre-populated Microsoft Excel template for you to amend and return to us.

Please note: if you have already started using a content set, and wish to amend mid-year, any statements that have been assessed will be archived but will not be visible within Class Track. However, the data is not entirely lost and can be viewed in reports. The amended content effectively starts from scratch.

 


Can I move from Best Fit to Deeper Learning/Deeper Learning to Best Fit?

Yes, you are able to switch from one system to another, however the data will not automatically transfer from one to another. If you were to give us a conversion we will create a report that will suggest a deeper learning/best fit judgement. You would then need to enter these judgements into the new data entry screen in your OTrack system.

We will ensure you have the correct data entry screens and reports available for immediate use. We will also hold any previous data from your system so this is not lost.


Where are last years, Year 6 Cohort?

If you can no longer see your previous Year 6 cohort, this is because they are all marked as leavers. In all Reports you have the ability in the filters to include data for Leavers.

Change the filter to Include and run the report, you will now see those pupils who are no longer at your school.


How often can I upload a CTF?

We recommend uploading a new CTF (Common Transfer File) at least once a term, however with our CTF Import feature (located in the admin tab) you can upload a new CTF whenever you require an update of pupil information. Please see the CTF Import guide.

Why is Class Track not loading in Internet Explorer?

If you cannot load Class Track in Internet Explorer, it might be because of the following:

  • You are using an out-of-date version – Update to the latest version or use a different Internet browser such as Google Chrome.
    • If you are using the latest version you may need to clear the cache – See the related guide
  • Internet Explorer is storing the wrong username and Password.
    • In IE Settings, remove the stored password, or use a different Internet Browser.
